The clock beside the spin button

A session is the stretch from the moment you open a board to the moment you leave. It is not a unit the game scores. Neon City will not announce that your session is over. You have to bring the end with you.

Mark it before the art gets interesting

Pick the end while the hero carousel is still on screen, not after a wild lands. “Twenty minutes” is a mark. “Until I hit free spins” is not a mark, because the board can withhold that round for longer than you planned, and the plan quietly expands.

Write the time down if you know you bargain with yourself. A note in another app is enough. When it matches the clock, the note wins over the reel that is still spinning.

What the desk will and will not do

The account caps play XP at 100 a day. That cap is not a session timer. You can keep spinning after the cap and earn no more XP from play until the next day. People treat that as a reason to stop, or they ignore it. Either reading is yours. The cap was built so the counter cannot be farmed all night. It was not built as a parental control.

The daily claim is on a 20-hour gap. Logging in to collect it and then staying for an hour you did not plan is the usual leak. Collect it, look at the level, leave.

A clean exit

Close the game modal or the board tab. Sign out if the machine is shared. The recent list in the side rail only remembers titles in this browser. It is not a score you have to protect.
